THANKS in ADVANCE and we hope to see you THERE!

Our mission is to empower youth with real-world job skills to create music and artistic media.

"Modesto Sound with its various programs just feels right for Modesto, meaning it has been around long enough to become a part of the fabric of the community. As a past poet laureate for the city of Modesto, I have been pleased to personally use the service provided by Modesto Sound. Good recording and professionalism at Modesto Sound is not just excellent music but spoken word poetry as well.

The excitement exhibited by participants from the area's many local high schools is infectious. What we do makes us important and what is important is what we do. It is in creativity that we discover our own place in the community and in return who we are. Like mid-night basketball, Modesto Sound provides a place for youngsters to find themselves, bond with others, and contribute to the world they live in.

I applaud their programs, their skill building efforts, and their commitment."
