Jolene Kline Jolene interned at Modesto Sound during summer break. She may want to have a career at a studio and is eager to see what it is like to work at one. She met several artists and created a radio show using CDs submitted to the station for airplay consideration. |

Delton Boswell Delton met us at the MJC Fair (see below) and has experience recording in Reason and other programs using MIDI and vocals. At Modesto Sound he produced radio shows and created public service announcements. He was interning when the county was recording a southside tourism CD and two of his songs were selected to be used which he got paid for! |

Alex Lebbert Plays guitar and each week he updated the Stanislaus Arts Council's event calendar. While at Modesto Sound he was hired to compose a keyboard piece for a customer's spoken word CD. |
Matt Nunes Plays the stand-up bass, violin and electric bass. Matt is the intern who put in the most hours at the studio. He is a whiz on the computer and has saved us countless hours by figuring out quicker ways to do things like how to update the on-line music player a new way. |

Jeremy Lai Plays piano, keys and synth. He was a recording engineer intern. He's a student at California State Stanislaus University majoring in music technology. His favorite bands are Pistolita, Barcelona and Waking Ashland. |
Claire Claire recorded some great public service announcements for our local community radio station. She is off to Chico State now and we hope she connects with their broadcasting department to showcase her talents! |

Kimberly Chea Plays the piano, violin, and lots of other instruments! At the studio Kim has edited in Pro Tools, designed promotional materials, updated the web site's music player and performed community outreach. Kim is planning a career as a talent scout for a record label so she's a good person to get to know! She was recently featured in Modesto Bee's Teen Hall of Fame.

Veronica Chan Plays the trombone and the baritone. One day Veronica recorded China playing guitar and China recorded Veronica playing trombone. That gave them the opportunity to be on both sides of the recording wall. Veronica designed the studio's promotional CD, has edited sessions in Pro Tools and updated the music player using Flash. |

China Hunter Plays the guitar and loves astronomy. China designed a flyer that was placed in all the music stores in the area and at the mall. She also selected music for the Modesto Sound music player and came up with ideas for our on-line presence. |
Zak Jorgensen He is a singer and every summer works at Y.E.S. Company giving pep talks, assisting with music and carrying out marketing plans. This photo shows him duplicating and printing artwork onto CDs. |
