Editing music at Modesto Sound
Brenda Francis is the founder of a community based non-profit recording studio for teenagers.  Since opening in the Fall of 2005, Modesto Sound has recorded over 160 artists and received recognition in several newspapers and Mix Magazine.
Brenda is a graduate of the University of the Pacific with a Master's in Business Administration and a Bachelor's of Science in Art & Entertainment Management.

Brenda reaches out to the community by volunteering at events such as the Center for Human Services, Booths at Career Days & Fairs, and provides Web Page assistance to the local Arts Council.
Brenda teaches music lessons at Ingram & Brauns Musik Shoppe, and has experience working with youth at the symphony (Senior Division Manager of the Modesto Symphony Youth Orchestra for two years), at Pacific Music Camp for several summers, and she is a STARS artist who gives music & technology and career presentations at area schools.

Brenda has traveled abroad to Japan, Guatemala, Mexico, Korea, Austria and Hungary. She is fluent in Japanese and Spanish.

She served on the Board of Directors for the Modesto Community Concert Association in 2005 and 2006 and is an active board member of the Stanislaus Arts Council. She is a webmaster and photographer for several web sites including artsway.org. Brenda plays the drums and is a member of the Recording Arts Academy (Grammy.com).
